About The Area

Lambton County has extreme value when compared to other parts of Ontario, with access to Lake Huron and the St.Clair river for boating and other water sports, or the great sandy beaches for a relaxing family day. Any way you look at it we have something for you, and here is a little bit about the main areas of Sarnia and it’s surroundings.

Sarnia – Approximately 74,000 people we have all the majors that you could want from city life, except the traffic. Most days driving from one end of the city to the other would take 10 roughly minutes, but I assure you you’ll want to take more time to get there maybe after a relaxing walk through Canatara or Centennial Parks, or perhaps after a dip in the lake. Our North end is bordered by Lake Huron, and to the west is the St.Clair river. We are also home to the Twin Bluewater Bridges which join us to the USA. The city is divided by the 402 Highway into north and south, while north end does have proximity to beaches to its credit, the south end has most of the retail convenience. No matter which side you choose, you cant loose!

To the south of Sarnia we have Corunna and this is a great self sufficient community with lower cost of living due to being outside of Sarnia by about 10-15 minutes.

To Sarnia’s east is Bright’s Grove, another self sufficient community in which average house prices are mildly elevated due to proximity to the beach, almost everyone is within short walking distance.

West of Sarnia is a little town called Point Edward, a very quaint little town with a ton packed into it. They have a great wealth of beauty under the Bluewater Bridges, and border Sarnia’s Canatara park, as well possessing a marina, casino, biking and walking waterfront trail, and some of the best french fries you’ll ever have.
